Q: How long can I keep my Torta or Pesto in the refrigerator?

A: All our products should be refrigerated. Tortas will keep unopened for 8 weeks and Pesto for 16 weeks, unopened. Once opened, it's best to consume within a week, or freeze. Tortas will keep for at least 12 months when frozen, allowing you to stock up and be prepared for any occasion. 

 

Q: What's the best way to unmold a torta so that it looks perfect on the plate?

A: Optimum is to pop the torta into the freezer for at least an hour. At least an hour before you want to serve it, remove the torta from the freezer and place the container under warm running water for 10 seconds. Invert on to the middle of a serving plate. Push down from the top and the torta will release from the mold. Serve at room temperature.  

 

Q: Can Tortas be heated and used as a sauce?

A: All our savory tortas are terrific when heated and thinned with a bit of milk or cream and served on pasta, chicken, fish or rice.
